Signings: July 21st 2010

The St. Louis Blues announced today that they have resigned 6′ 0” 200-pound winger David Perron to a two year 4.3million dollar contract. Perron tied for 4th in total points last season with the Blues setting a career high in goals (20) bringing his career totals to Goals (48), Assists(76) and  -/+ (20) in 225 NHL games. Perron was a 1st round pick (27th overall) by St. Louis in the 2007 NHL entry draft.

The Buffalo Sabres announced today that they have resigned 5′ 11” 198-pound winger Patrick Kaleta to a two year deal avoiding arbitration with the RFA. Kaleta had career high last season in Goals (10) and Assists (5), bringing his career totals to Goals (17), Assists (14) and -/+ (2) in 153 NHL games. Kaleta was drafted in the 6th round (176th overall) by Buffalo in the 2004 NHL entry draft.

The Anaheim Ducks announced today that they have come to terms with UFA 5′ 3” 203-pound defensemen Danny Syvret. Syvret appeared in 21 Flyers games last year scoring Goals (2) and Assists (2) but missed time due to an injured shoulder. Syret was drafted in the 3rd round (81st overall) by Edmonton in the 2005 NHL entry draft.

The Ottawa Senators announced today that they have resigned 6′ 0” 203-pound winger Nick Foligno. Foligno appeared in 61 games last season with the Senators scoring Goals (9) Assists(17) and -/+ (6) bringing his career totals to Goals (32), Assists (35) and +/- (4) in 187 NHL games. Foligno missed time with an injured leg and knee last season. Nick was drafted in the 1st round (28th overall) by Ottawa in the 2006 NHL entry draft.

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have resigned 5′ 11” 212-pound forward Darroll Powe to a 1year $725k contract. Powe had a career high in goals (9) and assists (6) in 63 NHL games last season. Powe signed with the Flyers as a UFA on March 20, 2007.
